Ed Lyon
President
Ed Lyon is a dedicated volunteer who is passionate about the positive impact that participation in a youth football program can have in a young person’s life. He has been coaching youth football for 18 seasons and has served as a board member and leader in youth organizations focused on teaching student athletes to achieve great things through hard work, sacrifice and loyalty to their teammates. Ed is committed to providing the opportunity for every player and cheerleader to enjoy the positive youth experiences that helped shape his life through participation in youth football and cheer.

George Uko
Commissioner

George Uko played football locally in the I.E. and had a dominant high school career earning him the ranking as #1 defensive tackle in California and # 3 in the country. Uko had over 60 full ride scholarship offers and decided to accept a full ride scholarship to USC, where he was a three-year defensive starter for the Trojans and earned his degree in Sociology. At USC he had 85 tackles, 11.5 sacks, and 27 consecutive starts. Uko went on to spend 4 years in the NFL playing for Tampa Bay Bucs, New Orleans Saints, and Denver Broncos in which he won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos. Today, George is running one of the most successful training business in Southern CA called TPA. He is working to give back the knowledge and experiences he had in the sport and pass it down to the youth in hopes they can live out their dreams the same way he did his.

Jesse Cerda
Cheer Coordinator

Jesse Cerda was raised in Fontana and has been in education for over 14 years in the Fontana Unified School District. He is passionate about working with students and pushing them to greatness. He entered the cheer world as Summit High School's Varsity Cheer coach 9 years ago and has experienced much success. Program highlights include: Varsity USA National Champions 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016; Varsity Best of the West Champions 2017; Varsity FNL Championships at USA Camp 2017, 2018, 2019; Varsity CHEERpros State Champions 2019; Varsity UCA Nationals 3rd Place Medium COED & 4th Place Gameday 2019; Varsity CIF Inaugural Cheer Champions 2019; Varsity Top 7 GPA in the CIF Southern Section; Named Cheer Program of the Decade by IE Prep Magazine; and was honored as the California State Cheerpros Coach of the Year 2020. Cerda has alumni student athletes who are currently cheering at the college and pro level in the NFL. Cerda is committed to giving back to the community he loves through provide our youth with a positive cheer experience.
